“A patient will come in with a picture of a celebrity that they've ripped out of a celebrity magazine,” said New York cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Leonard Grossman.

Radka Jureckovia, a 26-year-old student and part-time model, combed the pages of celebrity and fashion magazines until she found Meg Ryan's perfect pout.

She had a lip augmentation. A synthetic product was surgically implanted to permanently enhance her lips. She said it's no different than wanting to mimic Meg Ryan's hairstyle.

But unlike asking your hair stylist to give you Siena Miller's bob, Dr. Grossman warns altering your appearance through a cosmetic procedure is serious surgery. And it's permanent, so you don't want a look that does not fit your features.

And he also said you need to be realistic. Most celebrities spend several hours a day working out to maintain their appearance. They have teams of trainers, stylists and hair and makeup people to help them look their best.

“The average person looks at them as the cultural stereotype of beauty and perfection, so when we as regular people want to be prettier, it's those people that we look to,” said Jarett Wieselman, senior editor at In Touch Weekly.

According to In Touch, some of the most requested parts these days belong to Angelina Jolie, Jessica Simpson, Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Aniston.
