They find me, for the most part. I get two or three e-mails a day (from interested women). I've probably shot 250 to 300 girls and maybe 10 I've approached myself cold.

I'm really bad at editing my own work. Maybe this particular model has a personality I like. I like it, but for someone just looking at her, it may not be as good. What I ended up doing is putting together about 600 photos, and I sent them to my editor in Berlin (at Goliath Books). They made the ultimate choices. I left the editing up to them. Every year, Goliath Books picks two or three photographers to work with, and this year, (Goliath managing director) Miki Bunge chose me.
