ELKHART -- has received the Retailer of the Year medal from the WineMaker International Amateur Wine Competition judging committee. This is the second year in a row that Lese has received the medal.
Owner and operator of Quality Wine and Ale Supply, a home brew and wine making supply retail store at 108 S. Elkhart Ave., Lese won the medal as a result of his customers receiving more points for their gold, silver and bronze medal-winning wines than any other retailer. The amateur wine competition, held in April in Manchester, Vt., is the largest amateur wine competition in the world.
Of all the entries sent in by Lese's customers, 70 percent of them won medals, including Best of Show Red. Lese has awarded his winners wine kits, gift certificates and percent-off coupons.
