London: Actor Russell Crowe has slammed reports that he compared actress Sharon Stone to an orangutan, saying that his comments were taken out of context.

According to contactmusic.com, Crowe seemed to say that Stone had undergone cosmetic surgery to maintain her stunning features. She had denied this strongly in the past. Crowe had reportedly said, "A lot has changed. You can end up looking like a startled chimpanzee."
