(CBS) LOS ANGELES A lawsuit initially filed in Orange County by a man who claims to have been molested by Michael Jackson has been transferred to Los Angeles Superior Court.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Gregory Munoz granted the motion, which was uncontested by attorneys for the plaintiff, Daniel Kapon, on March 1st, and the case was filed in Los Angeles Thursday.

The complaint alleges Jackson gave Kapon drugs and alcohol and subjected him to unnecessary cosmetic surgery, as well as burning, torturing and beating him.

Kapon was 20 when he first filed the lawsuit in Orange County in October 2005. A hearing date has not yet been scheduled for the case's first appearance before a Los Angeles Superior Court judge.
