Medical Cosmetic Center, currently located on the Deaconess Gateway campus in Warrick County, wil... New Medical Cosmetic Cente
Medical Cosmetic Center, currently located on the Deaconess Gateway campus in Warrick County, will relocate later this year to a new complex planned for Cross Pointe Commerce Center on Evansville's East Side.
The three-lot site includes seven acres of land off the southwest corner of Virginia Street and Bentee Wes Court - midway between Burkhardt Road and Interstate 164.
Besides housing medical cosmetic, plastic surgery and dermatology offices, the new upscale complex will offer retail space for related businesses, according to Lisa Hastetter, an owner of the Medical Cosmetic Center.
She and her husband, Dr. Thomas S. Hastetter, and Mark Johnson, owner of Wink Construction Inc., jointly own the land and will also own the complex, she said.
Ground is expected to be broken within the next several weeks. Hastetter expects the Medical Cosmetic Center portion of the complex to be complete by Aug. 1.
A lack of adequate space at Gateway prompted the plans for the new complex, according to Hastetter, whose husband will remain at Gateway to continue a practice he has established there in obstetrics and gynecology.
The new complex will include about 17,000 square feet of space. The Medical Cosmetic Center will be two stories tall while the adjoining retail space will be one story, according to David McArdle, the project architect who represents Mills-Wallace & Associates.
A center for spine and sports medicine, a cosmetic boutique and a dentist, specializing in cosmetic surgery, will be among other tenants in the new complex.
