he bumping and banging of NASCAR short-track racing continues today with the Nextel Cup DirectTV 500 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway (Ch. 25, 1:30 p.m.).

After last weekend’s wild finish in the Food City 500 at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway, expect to see more fender rubbing, fist shaking and finger pointing between former Roush Racing teammates Matt Kenseth and Kurt Busch.

With five laps to go last week, Busch nudged Kenseth out of his way and into the lead en route to his fifth career victory at the .533-mile track.

While Kenseth continues to simmer, you can add Kevin Harvick’s name to the growing list of drivers who are fed up with Busch this season. Harvick,still stinging from the run-in he had with Busch in the Golden Corral 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway last month, was quick to join the chorus of criticism of Busch in Bristol.

During a a pre-race press conference in Bristol, Harvick had seemingly poked fun at Busch, suggesting the rival driver should have cosmetic surgery on his ears during the offseason.
