Dr. Leonard Smith Dr. Smith is a third generation Californian, born in Redwood City. He attended San Jose State College, where he majored in Biochemistry, and Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago. Dr. Smith served in the US Air Force as a Major in the Dental Corps, in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he completed his Residency in Dental Specialties. He has also completed basic and advanced training in Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry and Sedation Techniques for Dentistry.

Dr. Smith has trained with some of the world's most prominent cosmetic dental specialists, having mentored with the prestigious Rosenthal Group in New York City. Extensive post-graduate education has lead Dr. Smith to be a mentor to other dentists for laser, cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Dr. Smith completed a basic and advanced implant surgical residency at the University of Pacific Dental School in 1991. He has presented seminars on Laser Dental Surgery to the World Clinical Laser Institute and speaks on behalf of Biolase Corp., the worlds leading manufacturer of dental lasers.
