Like most of the people who saw Governor Achike Udenwa of Imo State at the burial of First Lady, Stella Obasanjo, we were concerned about his left arm which he carried on a sling that ran along his neck. From the way he looked, the governor was recuperating from something.

Not one to keep our peace when one of our own is in obvious discomfort, we called an aide of the governor on Wednesday to school us on what was wrong. Taking offense for defense, the aide first queried our motive for wanting to know what was wrong with the governor. He told us that we had better mind our business and look for other things to write about. When we probed further, he told us to send our man in Owerri to go and speak with the governor. But if the aide thought we would be put off, he soon found out he was only dreaming. He soon found himself telling us that His Excellency was in the US for a surgery recently and he was advised to take things easy for sometime.
