While in countries with milderclimates like Australia, the fitness trend is lunch hour jogging around theoffice block, the newest fad to hit Mumbai is lunch-hour liposuction and otherquick cosmetic surgical procedures - giving a new lease of life to sagging arms,double chins and cellulite-ridden thighs!

Lasting for an hour or two,such procedures cost at least 15 per cent more than traditional cosmetic surgery- anywhere between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 depending on the amount of fat to beremoved.

"It is worth theextra money. Who has the time to wait so long to see the results of atraditional cosmetic surgical procedure?" asks 45-yearold clothing store ownerNeena Punjabi (name changed).

"I have just come out of aminor cosmetic surgery wherein I had a little cellulite zapped off my hips bylaser liposuction. All it took was an hour and I was back to work later the sameday and even went for a party that night, although I was a bit sore."
